Questions

Common questions

Are you a clinician? Can you give medical advice?+

I am a registered midwife, but this service is non-clinical education, coaching and support. I do not provide clinical care, examinations, diagnosis or advice about medicines, and I will always signpost you to your midwifery team for clinical questions.

Can you be at my birth?+

Where my diary and your location allow, yes, as a non-clinical birth coach. Places are limited each month, so book a free call early. I will always explain exactly what I can and cannot do.

How does messaging work?+

Coaching packages include private messaging on working days with a reply within one working day. It is not monitored 24/7 and is not for emergencies or urgent clinical concerns.

How does course access work?+

Each course has access levels (Preview, Viewer, Learner, Facilitator). Paid access runs for a set period, with the start and end date shown in your account. Organisations can buy team access with codes.

Do you offer interpreters or accessible formats?+

Please tell me what you need when you book and I will arrange it where I can. See the accessibility statement for details.

What if I need to cancel?+

You can cancel or rearrange a session free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Full details are in the cancellations and refunds policy.
